If many got paid but some did not that does not make a site a scam

Just because certain people never earned anything on a site or didn't get paid why do they automatically assume they got scammed?
Maybe they didn't put in enough effort or get enough interaction to reach the minimum.
Maybe their PayPal was not valid.
Maybe they violated some site rules that prevented them from getting paid.
Or perhaps there was another valid reason.
If many people did get paid but they did not, or if many people earned but they did not, that does not make a site a scam.
But they seem to think otherwise.

True. Bubblews did not pay all the earned money to all the people that earned it.

@marguicha Yes. I did not get one payment. And I was upset about it.

Some sites only work for people from some nations, yet say they are international. Maybe they should explain some things at the beginning.

If that is the case a site should definitely make that clear right away. I do not remember this but does mylot let people know that people from Nigeria cannot get paid because PayPal doesn't allow it?

@lovebuglena I believe that people from Nigeria should know it. But, yes, maybe myLot should inform people of that when they join other than by reading a FAQ.

@lovebuglena In your situation the membership fee is because they want to maintain the site. That is indeed not scamming. What I mean is there are sites that promises you to be paid but you are required to pay them first to earn.

There is a site where I publish my writing called AuthorsDen. The site does not pay but I have to pay a yearly membership. And the cost varies depending on what membership I choose. Right now I pay $100/yr. There are many many members there. I would not say that that site is a scam. No one is forced to join. They do have a free membership but it's limited.

People have blogged that mylot is a scam because they claim they wrote worth paying articles and they deserve to get paid but instead they got banned. But they didn't even bother to read the guidelines. Some articles were plagiarised Others just didn't interact and wondered why they didn't get paid at all.

@lovebuglena Yes, yes, and yes because people thought when mylot was revamped that it was similar to bubblews or some other sites that pay you upon writing an article.

Why did they say worth paying articles when this site is not for writing articles...?

If others got paid and another wasn't, then it is not a scam at all; there could be some valid reasons.

Of course. But there are people, who didn't get paid, who believe they were scammed even if the majority says they always get paid.

@lovebuglena Not really. If someone has been paid I do not think so
