My sister in law saw the tapestry bags i made with cats. She asked if i could make one with dogs as she's more of a dog person. Well i couldn't find a pattern, so i searched for cross stitch patterns. I found one that actually looks like one of her dogs. I ended up making a pretty big bag, 23 inches x 16 inches. The bag is my own design I made it with cotton yarn and added metal grommets for the adjustable drawstring to go through. It also has nice handles to fit over the shoulder. I still may add a pocket or two. What do you think?

It is very very good. I would like to see what the cat bag looks like if possible.

You can add pockets inside. I would not touch the outside; it is perfect!

Thank you. I was thinking that, or on the back since that's plain.

@Debscrochet I insist on placing them inside. Besides, I love inside pockets to keep money or keys.

Wow....it's cute and very handy....pockets on the inside will definitely help. One bigger pocket with a chain at its mouth, and one smaller pocket. Just throwing it out there

Thats really nice, you did a great job. When you make those, does the yarn stretch after time?

Thank you. Not much at all. I use cotton yarn for that reason.
