Happy for my Father.

I was browsing my Facebook last night while I was having my treatment when photos of my Father floods my newsfeeds. The photos don't have a caption but I can tell, he was attending a Baptism. Then I saw one photo, a stolen shot, he was eating. Then one friend adds a comment saying, "kaon taman migo, wala raba kay ulaw" (eat well my friend because you don't have a shame). I know my Father as a hot tempered kind of man, and I know this kind of remark will trigger him but instead, he replied this - "kaon gyud ta migo samtang daghan pag pagkaon" (let's eat my friend while there is still food to eat). After separating from my Mother, I think Father is becoming a good person in some ways.

@Hannihar Well, we talk seriously first about issues we have with the renters. Then about Family then about us. Then we joke around together with my siblings. Mother is always outside and I know she is jealous of us having a good time with Father.

Yeah, knowing him he was a hot-tempered kind of man, maybe Social media affects him now or being away from my Mother makes him a better man.

That's nice and somehow, people tend to change as we get older.

your father may have mellowed already. if your father is hot-tempered, that person will kiss the dirt on the ground.

I think so. He was very strict before, he gets angry if triggered. Maybe he is better now.

That's nice to find your dad on facebook. My dad and mother separated when I was a youngster.

If we have gathered with my relatives, especially on my Father's side, yes. Sometimes he went here to visit us.

As people get older, they are more tolerant of things. The temper will become better.

Hi Bhem.. your father must have learned that there's no good in being too serious all the time. That in life, we should also blend in with some jokes and fun. I'm happy to know that by the story you have told us, he is becoming a good person now. =)

Yeah, Father was a strict Father to us. He doesn't want someone to joke him. He is kind of serious, but he laughs most of the time. And now, seeing him becoming better is wonderful.
