My wife just show me her new wrist watch, it was a gift to her from her brothers during Raksha Bandhan last Month. I asked her why wrist watch? She justified it is good to have wrist watch; she is well aware that I have gold watch and still don't use it. Time of Wrist Watches are almost over, but during this rare time, there are still costly wrist watches available. I used my wrist watch only for time management during exams, but now even exams are done online, where nobody have any authority to bring any device including wrist watches; so time management is not managed via wrist watch, but computer time. Yet Wrist watches are not over, there are still very costly wrist watches. I if have to use any wrist watch, I'll only settle for smart watch which have different features of modern technology. What are your views on Wristwatches now?

Yes, wrist watches are still in fashion. though they don't have any practical use they serve as ornament! Because of lack of demand in the market big reputed companies like Rado are selling their watches at 80% discounts. I am regularly receiving the mails from them. Though the people they don't like to wear the wrist watches, I still use them!

@yugocean , Agreed, but don't you think it looks funny, that a watch which was costing more than a Lakh of rupees is selling for 10K or 12K today?

@AKRao24 Ofcourse this is really funny; however isn't this possible that they were using gold/pletinium for old watches, and normal metel now which made it costs less?

Discount is not actually wonder; these companies first put high price and later offer discount which is always actual price. However craze of watches are limited, remember what happened to HMT which was once the only king brand.

I wear wrist watches every single day and I can't live without wearing one. I don't check my phone for the time, I always check my watch. I wear different kinds of wristwatches depending on my clothing for the day. One of my favorite is my Philip Stein. I'm planing to get a Charriol one soon.

I always wear a wrist watch, because it is the only practical way to know which time it is. I use a normal one, I have an expensive one that I never use.

@yugocean The inexpensive I have no idea, I cannot read the brand it is a small wrist watch, I should try with a magnifier. The expensive one is an Omega, all the time inside the jewels box.

I only seldom use my wristwatches - only for special occasions. I wear my Fitbit watch most of the time.

@sunrisefan That is good choice, Fitbit give information of time and health; a smartwatch+fitbit is going to be popular.

@Shavkat Hmmm, most of the hospital do not have wall clock. But that too can be checked via mobile, just mute the vibration etc.

I love wearing one when going out. My favorite wristwatch would be the Michael Kors wristwatch that I have received on my birthday. It looks classy and it goes pretty well with any outfit that I wear.
