Oh What A Day For Sports

Granted I do not think this one was yesterday, but sure played on national news today. I watched the whole thing and to me Serena Williams behaved poorly. I like people standing up for themselves, I like people calling out injustices, but that was some BS. Somehow the news made this a close argument and not sure how it was. I get what women in tennis have or go though to this day as for as sexism, but Serena just behaved poorly and then blamed it on the judge. She not only did that but she took away from her competitors clear victory and it sucks for her. To me, the whole thing sounds like poor sports. Yet, most of the greats as far as women's tennis backed Serena. I am like dude, I get she is a great, and it sucks when our hero's let us down, but at some point you have to say she messed up. This is why all these controversies never get solved. The winner was literally crying and was not out of happiness but out of the pettiness. What should have been a neat moment was broke and broke that scars people for life. Sorry Serena you behaved poorly and owe that lady an apology at the least.
The American legend was the victim of a draconian enforcement of the rules in the US Open final. But her reaction exposed the one flaw in her game

Haven't seen the whole match but I do think that Serena could and should have handled it better.

I agree, whole thing rubbed me wrong and it was not when she threw the racket. Actually I would prefer her do that than what she did to that judge and her competitor. People kept saying the only reason this is a issue is because she violently threw her racket. No, its because she was acting like an entitled spoiled brat who could not handle getting her butt beat. Everyone needs to throw their racket like that so they do not go off on the judges and their opponents like that. Was always my belief when I played street ball anyway.
