There are news that are closer to our heart than others.
Several people here have talked about the shock for them when Elvis or Michael Jackson or Robin Williams died.
Today I read about the fight that Olivia Newton-John is having with cancer. This is the third time that the singer and actress has had cancer and she is the bravest person to talk about it.
So many of us have followed her career with that beautiful voice she has. Others grew up with the film Grease that meant so much for a whole generation.
I propose here that those that are involved emotionally with this wonderful lady pray for her or sent good vibes to her in this moment. I believe in the power of collective prayer. Let´s help with that.

The article I read said it's at the base of her spine now. That's not good, but then again people have lived for decades with things like that. You're right, we have to remember her in prayer. I certainly enjoyed her early country-flavored songs.

This is her third cancer. As a person who is living with cancer, I can understand the extra problems and side effects of cancer and chemotherapy.
It is not easy. Fortunately, it seems that she has a good husband at her side.

Good vibes her way. She's a trooper, that's for sure. I've always enjoyed her voice and she seems like a lovely person too.

@marguicha I always loved her. Recently I found a picture of her and took a copy on my cell phone to bring to my hairdresser. Funny thing, I got the haircut but looked nothing like her.

It is very unfortunate, but these kinds of stories just show that these inspiring people are still people and then need as much support as anyone else during any kind of struggle. She is a survivor and the best thoughts are with her!
