Good morning/evening fellow mylotters!! Hope everyone had a great weekend and am wishing everyone a blessed week!! Yesterday in church the pastor had a good message (won't go into all the details) about consequences. That no matter what we do, God is always there for us. If we sin and ask forgiveness/repent, God will always be with us and love us, but we will pay the consequences of that sin in the long run. How true is that!! When my oldest son was younger and was going through troubles, he always thought (for the longest time) that I didn't like him because I put him in placements so he would get help. Now 15 years later he hasn't gotten in any trouble and realizes (before now) that I really did love him. I was just trying to help him. He learned from the behavior and the consequences of his behavior. On the other hand, I can give you an example of how some times the consequences of your actions don't turn out very well. The mother-in-law was buying a trike/motorcycle from some one. She swindled them out of the title for the trike/motorcycle and then skipped out paying it off (about $800.) Well, the people that she ripped off wanted their money that she owed them for the trike/motorcycle besides money they "loaned" her because she "acts" like she's so poor. Apparently the mother-in-law got tired of the people trying to get their money back (she never rode the trike/motorcycle anyway) she traded her daughter for her Durango (SUV.) Now the funny thing about that is that we have 2 SUVs and she has stated on several different occasions after riding in our SUVs how she would NEVER own a SUV because (since she's short) they are so hard for her to get in and out. So, now she's complaining about how she doesn't like the Durango. So sometimes when you make bad decisions or you sin and try to make things right, you have to live with your consequences and they might not be what you wanted ..it's like karma!! ~Peace~

Consequences can be tough. I do believe in Karma.

Remember the old saying "What goes around comes around"? It's the same thing, whether you believe in sin or not. For every action there is a reaction, not necessarily good.
