My father went into hospital on last week due to pneumonia. It was a 5 days stay in a single ward. Lucky everything is claimable by insurance. So last weekend, I give him a small money gift to buy some tonic to recuperate. My portable MP3 is spoil. I had gotten a new one from Qoo10. It costs me a good whole 75 bucks. Tonight, I had went to a game shop and ended up buying Pokemon Ultra Moon which is at a discount. $45 dollars gone. I had yet to complete Ultra Sun yet. I do not know why do I want to buy it but oh well. I will be giving another cash gift to my parents to buy mooncakes for mooncakes festivals.

Seems you have some extra cash laying around so might as well spend it and give it to your parents. Now, I'm craving for some mooncake.

If it's something that you can afford, then I don't really see the issue with that.

If you have the money, and it makes you happy to buy the things you did, you shouldn't feel guilty for doing so. I'm sure your parents appreciate what you've given them.

They did not want the mooncakes for each of their child will give them a box of 4 cakes and they have 3 children so they have 3 mooncakes and each mooncakes will usually be sliced into 8 pieces so that is a lot to eat within 7 days.
