An Indian Blessing

Mine is supposed to be. At least from underneath. Two places blew down during hurricane Irma. It is scary.

It looks like the monster hurricane is going to miss us in Florida and hit the Carolinas. Praying for those people.

It looks like we’re stuck with our old furniture. I’ve thought about asking the thrift store if they would come pick them up. I might snap a picture so they could see them.

I hope it does not either. We are not near the water but it rains heavily here during the summer and we get much rain when a hurricane goes through.

@akalinus I hope it doesn't flood.

@just4him It hasn't so far. When we get too much, there is water standing but in an hour, most of it is all gone.

Please be safe. The storm headed to the Carolinas is huge. May God and the mountain protect everyone.

Apparently, someone here showed kindness to an Indian and he blessed the place. I wish I had paid more attention and asked some questions.

@birjudanak Yes, that would be very special and there are a few people like that.

@akalinus a person may be a guru or saint or swami who has a pure heart with no any selfishness who very close to god blessing work. i want to say a special person.

That is very interesting. How would we know what those are?

This area has not flooded in anyone's memory going back many years. I wondered if there could be something to it.

@RubyHawk Being on a hill helps. I do believe in blessings. Thoughts and ideas have a huge impact on our lives.

@akalinus I don't believe in blessings and curses. The area I live in has never flooded. It would be hard to flood here, Our complex in on a hill side.

@arthurchappell You can laugh, but matters of the spirit have an impact on our lives.

We have not had a flood here that anyone can remember. It might be the geology of the place. Certain streets flood in heavy rain because the park management paved over the ditches that drained the rainwater away. We have heavy rain here, we can get a few inches in an afternoon storm. I like to think that it works. Of course, the real blessing comes from God through the Indian.

@akalinus How do you think rituals work? I'd like to hear your opinion too.

@sabtraversa I don't know how to describe it. Thoughts direct the energy of the earth to new directions. Bad thoughts invite bad things into your life and good thoughts make good things happen. Try to watch the DVD called The Secret. That tells more about it.

It was Native American. I don't agree with your thoughts about rituals but it's okay. I like hearing about what other people think.

They can change the conditions that steer the storm. Florence is heading more south and west now. It puts Georgia in danger as well as the Carolinas. If everyone concentrated their energy, they might be able to make it go out to sea instead. But, I don't think it will happen.

Yes, I believe that they do, also. It is the change in the energy surrounding these thoughts.

@Shivram59 It sounds like that was not a coincidence. I don't know how much believing that it will come true will make it so.

@akalinus This is just one example.I have read about many such incidents.The one thing I know is that the universe we live in is mysterious and what we know about it is just the tip of an iceberg.
