So I was watching the US open Tennis championship for women. Japanese Tennis player Naomi Osaka beats Serena Williams on her own home turf. The American audience on the stadium who are in support of their fellow American Serena Williams are booing the crap out of a shy 20 year old Japanese girl who should be enjoying her moment for beating her idol. She beats the American Hero fair and Square. She didn't cheat but because she beats her on her own country the people booed her and she was forced to apologize to Americans for winning. The poor girl is on tears because the audience are booing her to death. Oh Social media also attacked her.
After a drama-filled match between Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka, Osaka is crowned the victor during the US Open Women's Ceremony. Serena Williams comforts...

That stupid crowd just doesn't care crap about tennis, only their idol. They don't really know what sport for what it is. I think she needs to be taught that this kind of crowd exist in every sport. The new champion just needs to be strong.

It seemed like she is starting to get American fans now. On her guesting at Ellen, the American audience there are nice to her. Her Grandpa disowned her mom for marrying a black guy, her tennis career made her Grandpa watch her matches and reconcile with her mom.

Thats sad. I was reading in the news Serena arguing with the match referee. This happens when you beat local heroes.

I hope though she can develop an American fanbase so some audience will cheer for her.

I’m sorry but I don’t think the crowd was boong Naomi. I think the audience was upset with the umpire, Carlos Ramos, for the penalty he gave Serena.

The umpire though did the right decision, Serena is kind of cheating.

@CaptAlbertWhisker and I agree with what Serena said about the unfairness of it all. When men show outburst, they are outspoken. But when women do the same, we are hysterical.

I can't believe they booed that poor girl for winning fair and square, she deserved that trophy. I am glad Serena told them to stop

She is really closed to tears and her moment was stolen from her. I hope this won't affect her future performances.

@cintol That crowd should never watch a championship match again if they are too biased.

@CaptAlbertWhisker I know, I saw her wiping her tears away when she should have been so happy to beat her idol. So very sad they did that to her

I hope that will not affect her career and growing. A 20 years old is very young and shouldn't put in that kind of situation. Pity, apologizing instead of cheering.

What a pity she has to experience that. But she earned it. But it is good that Serena told the crowd not to be rude and no more booing.

Too sad for her, she should be basking proudly for her victory over Serena; but we can not blame the crowd, maybe they do not like the decision of the umpire for penalizing Serena.

The Penalty is justified though because coach are not allowed to coach in the middle of the match.
