I Am Afraid I Have Bitten Off More Than I Can Chew

I am afraid I have bitten off more than I can chew. Usually I start one discussion in 5-7 days. Two days back I adopted a new strategy and decided to start one discussion everyday. Accordingly I started one discussion yesterday. It received a satisfactory number of responses either.I got excited. From last night I am trying to hit an idea I can share a discussion about the next day. It was not easy though.I kept thinking and pressurizing my mind to somehow hit an idea. But it did not work.My mind was completely numb and blank. I did not give in and kept thinking. And finally I succeeded. I am sharing this discussion today - my second discussion in two consecutive days. I still think I have bitten off more than I can chew.My strategy is too difficult to be implemented, but I will not give in.I will keep trying and hope it would help my mind to "catch" ideas. Today's discussion is my second one in two consecutive days. My struggle to have an idea for tomorrow has begun.

I doubt that you will be successful. Why don't you write a discussion when you have something interesting to say other member want to read? I'm certainly not going to read another discussion of yours on the thrilling topic of writing discussions.

I have a small notebook and write ideas in it when I think of them. That way, I won't forget them.

@Shivram59 You need to get out more. Go for a walk and take pictures of things you see out there. Look at the clouds, animals, anything interesting. Read, watch TV, use your imagination.

@akalinus I read newspapers and magazines and TV news as well. ,but prefer to start discussions on my own experiences.I love watching clouds and stars either.I agree with you that what I feel watching stars and clouds can be a good topic for discussions.

Best is to check out various news. or Movies or sports events? But yes, sometimes we need break too. I think 5 discussions a week is enough.

I have been doing one or more discussions a day. It was hard, especially the notifications. I am getting used to that now. I just write about whatever is going on in my day.

@Shivram59 You need to interact a lot here. I noticed I earned much less on the day my son and I went shopping and doing errands. But I can't be here all the time.

Good luck. Mylot is a place of relaxation and fun for me so I don't like pressuring myself into making my own discussions when ni can have fun reading someone else's.

I tried that, I was successful for about a month because I decided to do so for that amount of time. Then I needed to rest. I don't think you can force ideas, though the "I don't know what to write" posts aren't that uncommon. MyLot itself can be a good source of inspiration, talking about myLot always works. You can start browsing forums or watching videos to find something to talk about. The hardest thing in my case wasn't the topic to discuss, but my mood. Some days are fine, some kind of suck, and that could have affected my posts somehow.

You can make it but don't think too hard. You can skip a day and have two discussions in a day. Ideas just come

I do not have a system here. The reason is that I can only make a discussion when I can think of one, not before lol I know that you will prevail over this and find your own way and do the best for you!! And this is a discussion you made just now yay
