"What will be YOUR reaction IF...

...someone does this to you?" It seems like kids have their own way of expressing themselves. Another student online of mine showed rudeness by raising his arm like he wants to kill me. He thought I didn't see it.LOL My eyeballs are functional in all directions while having a class online. "Why am I so observant?" To cut it short, I call his attention if there's something wrong or does he has any questions about his lesson. As a virtual teacher, I still need to understand him for being frustrated. "Should I make a book about how to deal with rude students online?" "Would you feel bad about such behavior?" Image Credit: mynewsla.com

Of course I will feel bad and I don't need to just smiling in one corner. Talking to him is just proper to clear up things.

I did the right thing then, It is indeed not acceptable. This young kid is not a toddler age. I wonder why his parents let him study unattended at this particular lesson.

Honestly, I wouldn't feel bad as long as he isn't disrupting the class.

@Shavkat if it disrupts the class, I'd talk to the student and give him a stern warning. If he does it again, he won't be allowed to be in my class.

@allen0187 I hope it is possible. We don't have the option to push them away. Online type of classes is not like the educational system at school. That's the bad side of it.

Some children react in a different way to others. I hope you managed to get through to him and are able to get him into learning something.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I think he has a poor listening skill, too. That's the reason why I do send messages while taking.

As much as possible, I do my best in every class online. For the reason that these online students evaluate after the class. The bad side is that it is subjective.

I also have a "spatial" vision, I see everything around me. I am not happy with rude people, but we need to move on.

No worries, my friend. I am used to this kind of rude students online. I hope that people who wanted to be a virtual teacher can learn something from it.

@LadyDuck I do agree with you. I had seen some cases that offline teachers face bad circumstances. At least, the online students cannot harm me.

@Shavkat Non virtual teachers are in a worse position than yours. Students are aggressive and dangerous in our days.

I always do ask them about their difficulties during the class. I also feel like I was being threatened. But I need to face him with a little faith.

Well, if it's okay to apprehend him why not. It is rude. And besides you are his Teacher and you should at least make him feel that rudeness is a no-no.

@JustBhem It doesn't need, my friend. The company doesn't care about this. It can be useful if the company's staff will request for a coaching session.

I call his attention by asking what makes him feel bad. It is better to ask first than jumping to a conclusion. But I do observe he is having a hard time during the class.

The soldier will likely to react first before realising that it was a kid disturbing him

one time, a student did the act of like stabbing me, but when i turned around, he acted as if there is an insect at my back so he brushed my back. i knew his act, and i gave him a failing mark. that might be the reason because he was poor and i wanted him to shine.

If I can only mark a failing grade for this student., I will do it. The only option is to give bad performance feedback. Speaking of failing a student, I gave it to a caregiver student once before.

@ridingbet Actually, he is making a joke that I am. When he got his failed grade, then he realized how bad I am if being insulted. Of course, he got so many mistakes during the practical application. As we all know, there is no room for mistakes in treating patients.
