It's a New Day

I haven't come down to earth yet. Still flying high with the awesome news about the contract. I had a bit of a meltdown last night. I was laughing, crying, and going nuts all at once, and my computer and printer didn't want to talk to each other so I could print up the contract and invoice. I got it figured out. The printer cord wasn't completely connected to the USB port, so disconnecting it and reconnecting it did the trick and I got 5 copies of the invoice and two copies of the contract. Today will be a busy day for me. I need to do laundry, but it won't be at my son's. He's sicker than a dog, so is my grandson. So, he called to tell me not to come over, to do it at the laundromat instead. So, I need to go to the bank for quarters. I did tell him the good news about the contract and the offer my publisher made for him to do designs/illustrations for books. He's interested and told me to give her his number, which I did. I also have a hair appointment this morning. So, I'm going to try to fit hair and laundry in this morning, but that might not be possible. I'm eating breakfast at the moment, and then I'm headed out. I needed to go shopping this morning. I needed stamps to mail out the contract, which you can get at Wal-Mart and I needed food. It really helps to have that if you're going to eat. So, my eating is a result of shopping. It's been a very good day already this morning, starting in the pool. If I can get everything done this morning, as I hope, I'll be taking a nap as soon as I get home. The excitement of the past 24 hours has me totally wired for excitement and was up at 1:20 AM. If I don't take a nap today, I will be going to bed early tonight. Most likely crash and sleep soundly, I hope if that's the case. How is your day going?
