Busy morning already...

I finished breakfast this morning and was getting ready to take Angel for her walk when I received a phone call from my financial adviser (think that's the right title) person at Edward Jones. I had forgotten that we had a phone appointment to talk about some things, so I'm glad that I hadn't gone out the door yet. I forget a lot of the things she said in the phone call that lasted maybe five minutes, but one of the things was that I had to take money out of my "account" there every so often, so after being given some options I said I would like it to go into my checking account, and among other options she gave she said she could stop by and pick up a voided check from me so that they could transfer the money to my account. I chose for her to come pick it up, as I would likely have to call a Lyft to get over there, which would mean paying a fare, and I wasn't 100% sure where their office was, anyway. She said she would be there in about ten minutes, so I took the time to vacuum a bit and things. She came, got the check, and not long after she left my next door neighbor to the west called and asked if I would like some apples and tomatoes from her backyard, to which I said yes, so I had to wait a few more minutes for her to come over, and then finally got to take Angel for a walk, which made her happy. Now, it's a little after eleven a.m.! Oh, well. At least I did get some things done this morning--one of them now posting something that wasn't good morning or good night. After I post this, I'm going to take the opportunity to make my bed before Angel gets on it again ! Hope you are all having a great day/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land !
