Got back to mylot after my last post 5 years ago and a lot has changed here.

After being away for 5 years, I stumbled on Mylot again. Surprisingly, my account is still active and i still have all the discussions I had posted before.
I actually thought all this time that Mylot has closed down already.
I have also noticed a lot of changes here, like how the Mylot logo has changed from blue to green, and interests have also disapeared where poeple used to post discussions on.
This would be my first post after a long time. I wonder what else has changes in this Mylot community after 5 years.
I have started doing Mylot since 2010 Dec, and that would be 8 years if I haven't been away.
Would be interesting to know how long have other memebers been here in mylot as well.

I actually still feel lost looking at the topics. Before, we used to have general categories where you post your topics under. But now they are nowhere to be found. It seems like you just post any topic and add tags on it. The website format before is still more organized as it is now. Sometimes i feel like reading stuff under a certain category but now i have to type in specific keywords to see those topics.

I have just realized that i can post pictures here too and i added a photo of how mylot used to look like way back. You can see the top 10 topics sorted on the dashboard and it also has categories where you can post your discussions under.
And you also get to see the daily breakdown of your earnings instead of being lumped into one whole month.

aside from the color changing from blue to green, the logo will also look like this $mylot$ (with dollar signs) when they payout, which is still any day between the 1st and 15th of the month, still paypal but reduced from 10 to 5, and still unannounced. however, it seems the dollar signs only show on desktop and laptops.
we now earn when we receive likes, responses and comments, but the algorithm is still confidential, just like before.
admin is still goaskalice, while mylotbugs handle the technical stuff.
here is the link to the revised/updated community guidelines and faq. you have to make sure your paypal email address is inputted in your account setting.

I have been quite busy, moving away from home and trying to live an independent life. It was quite a struggle settling down. Work has been very busy too and with all those stuff i kind of forgot about Mylot already. It just reminded me when someone mentioned to me Reddit and Quora where people post and respond to topics posted.
