(KJV) I have a book called The Real Meaning of the Zodiac. I learned a lot about its true meaning. Every sign points to Jesus Christ, salvation, and his coming again. The sign I was born under - the crab - His Possessions Held Secure - Assures us of God's fulfillment of His promise that He will have a great kingdom filled with a multitude of people from every race, tribe, and nation. Your sign Scorpio - Means Mortal Conflict - Set forth Christ as wounded for our transgressions, and the bruising of Christ's heel as necessary for victory over Satan. So, yes, your sign is very important. They all are and show us that God laid out everything before the foundation of the world. The horoscope is manmade and doesn't tell the true picture of what God intended for us. (I gave a couple excerpts from the book)

@just4him wow! Now I understand what you were talking about. I used to read many science books and also books that dealt with religion and metaphysics. The problem is that I have many questions with no answer or with an unsatisfying one. Horoscopes are just for fun, people will always need something like that .

Moon Child sounds awesome, I like this one better . I don't know if God has something to do with the signs, I believe they are made up by us humans, but I don't know much about astrology. What do you mean about the true meaning behind the Zodiac? I didn't think about a meaning, to be honest...

@Kasjnak Oh, I always read horoscopes when I come across them. That is at the hairdresser's and in a doctor's waiting room. As I go to both rather seldom, I stumble through my life without proper guidance from the stars. :-(

@MALUSE I don't read horoscopes, but some of my friends do and every now and then they tell me what it's saying about my sign. I usually tell them that if it's a positive thing, I believe it, if it's not, I don't .

@Kasjnak It is nice like that we are the best zodiac, but I think we are all different in our ways. We have our limitations and strenghts. So no one is better than the other. Relax.

I have some Aries friends. Apparently you are a stubborn person. From what I saw, no more than other signs , at least my friends have a normal level of stubbornness

Maybe, maybe. Or maybe not . As long as you have fun, the sign doesn't matter. Unless it's Scorpio, the greatest of them all .

@Kasjnak The sign itself is insignificant compared to the map of the solar system on the day, month, year and time of birth. That is what makes us unique. Two people could have different zodiac signs, but they may both have been born when Saturn was in Pisces at the time of their births. They could both have the same Ascendant. (Ascendant is the sign your first house is in) So if you are a Scorpio in your sun sign and your Ascendant is Taurus, then you will also acquire some Taurean traits to compliment your Scorpio nature. If your neighbor has a Capricorn Sun and a Taurus Ascendant, you and your neighbor will share those Taurean traits which will give you both some things in common, including same interests even though your sun signs are different. There is so much more to astrology than just a sun sign.

@Starmaiden you really know your astrology . I like it when people explain things this way, easy to follow, easy to understand . Still, to me astrology is just something fun, but you made me curious about it and I'll try to find some more info. Who knows what I'll find .

Well, the thing is that you may find some similar features between all signs. If someone is Aries or Scorpio or Gemini or some other sign, it doesn't really matter . You could find 12 people, one for each sign, and they could behave in a similar way, even identical, in every situation. So, what I think is that we are all unique, the zodiac sign has nothing to do with it . P.S. my brother is a Gemini

If it's right, it's just a coincidence. There are hundreds of millions of people with the same sign and every day they have all kind of things happening. Horoscopes are just for fun .

That's what I think too, zodiac signs are for fun . Both my mother and my mother in law are Taurus and they have similar personalities .

Nice . My son is a Scorpio like me and my wife is a Libra. She always tells me that her sign is the best and I tell her: "Well, you have two Scorpios in the house. We win."

Interesting. And how do you get along? I have a brother who's a Gemini and we used to fight when we were young. Well, we don't do that now .

@Kasjnak yes i am. in fact, there is one mylotter here she has the same Zodiac sign like me and also a Chinese Zodiac sign as well; she is also a Scorpio and a pig.

You know, for a moment I was frozen... then I got it, you mean "pig" in the chinese zodiac, right? So, isn't Scorpio the best sign? What do you think?

I have many friends for almost every sign, most of them Gemini, Lion, Taurus, Cancer and so on, but only one Sagittarius and no Pisces . I like them as they are, I don't care about the sign

I have only one friend that's Sagittarius and he is a very nice person. A bit crazy though . Still, everybody likes him . I don't believe in Astrology, but it's fun to go along with it sometimes

Well, I don't believe in that . I know that we are made of star dust... quite literally, that is just physics and biology. And there are some energies and forces in the universe, but they have nothing to do with the zodiac signs.
