I don't know what the guidelines of mylot say, but usually we don't ask other users to view and respond to our posts. Would you visit and respond to a user's posts if they visit and respond to your posts regularly?

@Shivram59 If we remember their names or DP, we can reply to their posts in recent discussions itself.

"I don't know what the guidelines of mylot say"
This is where you will find out what kinds of behavior are accepted and unaccepted on myLot. When in doubt, remember the Golden Rule!

Yes, that is how I work this site. If someone stops at my site, I stop at theirs...I also look around for the new-bees and give them a chance to figure out how this works.

@PaintsOnSlate I lack time, yet somehow mange to view posts of those who regularly visit mine.In fact,I like to view posts of everyone who respond to my post/posts,but most often lack of time prevents me from doing so.

@Shivram59 I too can not be here as often I'd like to be, but i do take the time to acknowledge those who comment on my posts by going to their posts and return the favor. I often am weeks late but I do get it done before I post a new post.

@PainsOnSlate That's good.It doesn't matter whether you visit their posts immediately after they comment on yours or take time to return the favour. What matters is that you visit their posts, and for this I highly appreciate you.

@dya80dya Great. That's exactly what I do.If someone visits and responds to my posts regularly,I visit their posts and respond to them.Or,if I visit someone's posts regularly,I expect them to visit and respond to my posts either. Some of them come up to my expectations whereas some others remain indifferent.

And this is the purpose of mylot. We have to interact. We will never know who will be indifferent, but at least we try.

I would especially if the comments are not just the generic ‘thank you for sharing’. A good myLot relationship starts from there.

No, I go through "Most Recent Discussions" and "Most Recent Activity" most of the time. But I can also randomly open the profile of a member who I find interesting and respond on their couple of discussions. I also go through my "Follows- Their Discussions".

@Shivram59 They still show up if I reply to all of them on my post. Though I prefer not staying on my posts. I prefer visiting others more.

@Daljinder I,for one, think if they have sacrificed their time and labour to visit my posts,I should return the favour. And this practice has proved to be useful.I have got many friends who regularly visit myou discussions.
