The Good News Is ...

There is some good news coming from the YWCA this morning. Some of you might recall that the main elevator has been inoperative for quite a while. The good news is they are finally working on it. The bad news is that the part they need is in North Carolina, and we all know what's happening in North Carolina right now, so nothing is coming out of North Carolina at the moment. So, the necessary part to make the elevator operative is on hold. However, they expect the elevator to be back in operation in mid-October if they can get the state inspector out to check it when it's ready to operate.
In the meantime, I'm still using the smaller elevator, but there is hope on the horizon. 
In other news, I will be leaving in approximately an hour for my appointment at the hospital and will return shortly after noon. I also expect I'll take my nap at the hospital this morning. I'm also waiting until I get home before I eat.
Right now, all I would need to do is close my eyes and I would be in dreamland. Unfortunately I can't do that, so instead, I'm going to work notifications until time to leave.
