When you block someone this is what happens

When you block someone this is what happens In the first place one only comes to know that one is blocked when they cannot respond to the discussions of the blocker. Then the one who is blocked wonders why and also hopes it is a glitch. The one who blocks can respond to the discussions posted by the one who is blocked. Those in that discussion who have responded can see that response but the one who is blocked cannot see it The one who blocks has a hay day writing whatever they want including being rude to the one they have blocked but that response as I said cannot be seen by the one who is blocked. Perhaps this feature where the blocker having a hay day could be taken care of. When that is done I do not think those who have been blocked will mind if they are blocked. There is hardly any benefit blocking anyone except they can spew out venom against the one who they have blocked But is this fair?

If it makes them happy then I say let them have at it. It cant be very much fun when you are not getting a reaction from the person, but it is still helping the person earn.

Since when did fairness count for anything? Equity is a figment of the imagination. And did you know if they block you, you cannot block them? Where is the sense of that...?

@pgntwo This user who blocked me took great pleasure in responding to my discussion without knowing the background and put the blame solely on me for 'messing up'
I cannot open my paypal account. It says that they observed some suspicious activity and made me go through some verifying activities. I have changed my mobile...

Sadly you will never know when and why you were blocked. That is one of the bones of contention here

@Mavic123456 I am hoping there will be some revamp so that those who block do not benefit from it while those who are blocked suffer. You cannot even block them if you are first blocked.

I fully agree with you, this button is nor fair, I send a PM to Alex asking if they should consider to remove the button. They are considering to add a "warning" to avoid accidental blocks. I would remove it.

@LadyDuck Blocking is ok if they want to leave that person alone but why come to their discussions and criticise them knowing they cannot see but only others see.. This is done only by mean and undignified users.

Blocking intentionally and getting the advantage of bullying is extremely unfair

I think it's fair enough, well for people who block people.

I do not get you. Do you mean to say they grab the opportunity to be rude and you think it is fair?

@allknowing Yes, it is fair enough for them because they can do whatever they want to say to those people who cannot reply to their rant. Lol. but for me, it is not. If someone did something to me, I won't block them.

I've never done this before, and I don't think that's necessary.

Not knowing its ramifications I have done that. Blocking does not help anyone except those who want to exploit it and post rude comments.

Blocking is done when they are not comfortable interacting But they can do that without blocking I do that. But a mean blocker will do that so they get an opportunity to talk against the one who they have blocked as whatever they say others see it but not the user concerned.
