I wonder why this isn't a cable show?

Do you ever see something on TV that you think might be perfect for a cable show? I couldn't find anything to watch so I was watching Life Below Zero where a woman was boiling twigs..willow maybe?? to make a salve out of it. I know aspirin orignally came from willow bark. I was thinking how interesting it would be if there was a cable show that dealt with homeopathic remedies. They could have a homeopathic doctor on there doing some of these old fashioned cures with the history of them..with guests living off the grid and so forth. Then of course they would be doing warnings if you aren't getting better seek remedy from conventional doctor etc. etc.. I think a show like that would be so interesting..don't you?

I really think it would be. Maybe they are worried about people doing the wrong thing and suing the network..you know our sue happy society!

@Courage7 Yes, but you know there are other medical shows like the Doctors, and Doctor OZ so I think it would be OK. The cable networks might not have pockets as deep as the main networks though.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yeah, lots of us could! Sometimes if you go to a craft show and people are selling things like that..they will tell you about them.

@snowy22315 Definitely. I've bought salves off of etsy, but I've never made one. If I knew how, I wouldn't need to buy them off etsy. Plus all the other things I could learn from a show like that.

I do think it would be interesting to see a show like this. Good idea!! pitch it to a cable channel and maybe you can get some nice $$$

We have a show Zliving that sometimes discusses how natural food medicines etc. can sometimes help a hopeless patient when nothing else can. Beet juice and fish oil are highly recommended.

You know, that sounds like just the kind of show that will show up on cable eventually.
