Diary Thursday 13th September 2018 The penultimate meeting of the film festival organization team today, and I'm assigned to provide the introduction for the movie Coco at the event matinee screening in October. I'm looking forward to it. Afterwards I shopped around for some last minute supplies I need for the wedding event at weekend. Diary Friday 14th September 2018 Many people have shared around the link to the article relating to my worries about the DWP trying to manipulate me / force me to buy a smartphone. The feature is on the brink of going viral. A friend at the university was finishing today. He was responsible for my acceptance there as a volunteer. There was a lovely low key send off party for him which I attended. There was some buffet food left over afterwards so I brought some home - enough to feed me for most of the weekend. Diary Saturday 15th September 2018 A developing local film group meeting today, and though two of us went along the main organizer didn't. Later he sent me an apology after I wrote asking for one. He saw the invite page had few people on it expressing interest and just decided not to go, without trying to contact anyone to say it was cancelled. I told him I won't be bothering to go in future as this is clearly just wasting people's time. Tomorrow I'm at a friend's pirate themed wedding so I was busy getting my own pirate outfit ready. There were lots of messages on my Facebook page relating to my mention in a feature on the DWP trying to get me to upgrade my phone. Most posts were lovely, but one troll, himself unemployed, kept denouncing me as a scrounger and making it all up. He popped up on another thread demanding to know how I can afford bus gare.
