Nike stock hit an all-time high on Thursday

Many people vowed to boycott Nike when they made Colin Kaepernick the face of their 30th anniversary ad campaign a couple of weeks ago. People threw their sneakers away, cut the swooshes off of their socks, and predicted doom for the company. Others, like myself, chose to show support for Nike by going out and buying a new pair of their sneakers. It was only a matter of time before news came out as to how the ad campaign helped/hurt the company. Nike stock hit an all time high on Wednesday and then beat that number on Thursday for their highest amount ever. I've also seen reports that their online sales are up by over 30% since the campaign started. I'm happy that the company was bold enough to use Kaepernick for their campaign. I'm thrilled to see that most of the country is supporting Nike. There is hope for the United States after all!

Because they think they are somehow hurting the company if they destroy the product. They aren't very smart.
