A Sunday Project for The Horse!

I was feeling a bit lost today, wondering what projects I could work on. Then discovered a 1969 (or so) KLH Model 21 radio that I had bought a year or two ago (on eBay) and forgotten about. I think I spent $80 on the thing. Today, I spent some time in the sun, restoring all of the walnut surfaces on the radio. Then I tested it in my kitchen. It sounds good, though it gets some stations my other KLH Model 21 can't get and misses some that the other one CAN get. Go figure. Next week, I'll oil it up and see what it looks like. It should command $150 or so on Craigslist. Did you get some projects done today? I need some new ones to keep my mojo working. Yes, I'll post an "after" picture when it's done.

@TheHorse Doing the laundry? In a way, yes, ahaha because in whatever way I will put it, I will still be the one to do it.

@TheHorse I do not care what anyone says he was good and I would take him if had a scrub team. Unfortunately, we have Mohomes and he lighting world on fire. Like that is a bad thing. So far at least. A quarterback cannot save a bad team and 49ers went to crap when they let Harbaugh go. You have a bad coach, I do not care how good you are, you will not be as good as you are capable.

Nikes? Is that a sneaker company? Why did you burn them? Who does Colin Kaepernick play for these days? I heard that his completion percentage wasn't that high.

Its been raining for days, not much I can do since I am working on improving our backyard garden, I stayed imdoors and stripped wires that I had amassed to extract the copper and make a few bucks.

@TheHorse the copper I'm stripping is sacks and sacks from house to building rewires, bought it cheap a long time ago and just left it laying around, I'm gonna sell them for around 6 dollars per kilogram.

I stripped copper wires today as well. But it was to test out the radio that I was working on.

@TheHorse We don't watch football. I stopped years ago when the news of the concussion/TBI coverup first broke. We were watching old movies on TMC.

@DWDavis Sounds good to me I kind of lost interest in NFL football when it came out that so many of the players were...not very nice guys...

I think I'll be able to. Really nice ones go for about that on eBay. But I'm too lazy to ship now, so I only sell on Craigslist.

Great work @TheHorse . The one project that I constantly work on is myself. Not sure if that counts.

My goal now is to get rid of this annoying cold, today I have a dentist appointment, it's only the scheduled cleaning, it will be harder than usual, I cannot breath from my nose.

@TheHorse I went, because I asked if I could postpone the appointment and the waiting list is so long that I had to wait several months. The dentist who takes care of the cleaning is very good and has many clients. There are others in the area, but this one is the best.

@TheHorse About three years ago I think. He will be meeting up with a few others when he gets there and they'll be visiting the wells that they've supplied the funds for and distributing some other things in a couple of schools.

I worked a bit on my craft project. We will wait for the picture. I also completed one chapter of the book in last two days...I am helping my mom with it. She is the author of the book. She has the outline and well written points but her fingers are hurting a lot and making it very tough for her to type.
