Strange Insect

I went to the beach and saw this insect first I mistake it for a humming because of it of the color But when I saw it crawling I was astonished because I couldn’t determine if it was a Roach or a beetle Because of the size, it carries. I wanted to get a close-up but I am very skeptic about things I have no knowledge about. I did manage to take this photo. Have you ever seen any insect like this? Do you know what insect is this I would really love to know?
