Hospitals' food, good ? Or not. / myLot

I know that most of you would agree that the food in most hospitals taste like cardboard of cooked to death and without flavor. Well from my book that talks about " Nutrition Tests for better Health " from Doctor Cass Ingram. It tells you that there is no nutrients in Hospital food, because of the way it is served . Often When your at the hospital is because you need help to bring you back to health. But usually if you if you have a good doctor He will understand you and help some, but some will just on top of the bad nutrition will prescribe drugs that will accelerate the nutrients lost. In any cases it tells me that if I want to get better, I better inform myself how. Sad to say that the hospitals violate very rule of a sound nutrition. We better equip ourselves to avoid " the hospitals' food. Or better have someone bring you some food from home. photo from pixabay

Some of that depends on the hospital. They try to serve meals that meet your nutritional requirements.

@beenice2 there are many who prepare their food at home. It also has no nutritional value.....after they have boiled it, or fried it and processed it beyond recognition. When my father was in hospital, from the meals I saw, they were not over processed and still looked and smelled the way the dish was intended to look and taste. Hospitals have come a long way over the past decade.
