Citizens Police Academy 2.0

Last fall, I posted about my mini two-week Citizens Police Academy session that took place at one of my local fire departments. It was mentioned in the same post of my local fire department ride-along for novel research. Well, three weeks ago, I've signed up to do it again. Instead of it being a two-week session, it's full at seven weeks, starting tomorrow night in five locations. This would take place instead of Wednesday yoga until Halloween. A week from tomorrow, there would be a K-9 session with my K-9 host officer I met two years ago for a four-hour ride-along on a Friday night. Besides him, he would be joined with other local K-9 officers for a demonstration. It would be good to see him again, since I lost his email when I got my new computer last summer. So I'll be able to ask him for it again, maybe before or after the session, for follow-up questions to ask him hopefully next year. I might do another ride-along with him in the near future if possible. I'll be also getting a Citizens Police Academy cadet t-shirt tomorrow to wear. So at least you'll know what I'll be doing every late Wednesday night for the next couple of weeks. When I come home, I'll be going to bed and sign out for the night.
