No work tomorrow

I have off tomorrow for Yom Kippur. It is strange to me that they give us off for the Jewish holiday when the majority of the residents aren't Jewish, but they've been doing it for almost 20 years now so I'm used to it. We also just had last Monday off for Rosh Hashanah.
My Jewish coworker tells me that you have to fast all day on Yom Kippur and that you are supposed to self-reflect and pray. He said that the reality for him is a lot of napping and Netflix. 
I'm not Jewish so I will be heading to the gym in the morning. I have a few errands to run. Then I will be hanging out here at the house waiting for the cable people to come in the afternoon. It won't be a particularly exciting day off but that is okay with me.

I will be netflixing and napping tomorrow, but not because of a holiday. Because I leave for work at 930 tomorrow night.

My grandkids are off from school in NY too for the holiday. Our schools here in Pa are open.
