I Found Money In My Mailbox

Usually the only thing in my mailbox is bills or junk mail. Today was totally a different story and one that made my day. I mentioned a few weeks ago that we were having car troubles and that our car went to the mechanic for a throttle body issue which was quite costly. The car wouldn't have made it to the dealership where my son in law works so we had to use a local mechanic. The mechanic kept the car for a day and repaired it to our satisfaction. No complains. As I said, it was a costly repair. My son in law (who works for a Ford dealership) took the paperwork from the mechanic and submitted it to Ford to see what they had to say about this repair. Seems as if it's quite common and should be a recall. Well, lo and behold, today I got a check from Ford for the whole reimbursement for the repair. I never expected Ford to even acknowledge the repair so imagine my surprise when I got the full payment back. Whoo hoo today is a good day!!
