Mueller is no joke--Manafort's plea deal

It seems that it was written with the idea that either Manafort would ask for a pardon from Trump or that Trump would eventually issue one. 
The language of the deal states that, if he receives "executive clemency", he can be re-charged by prosecutors for crimes already committed or things that he admitted to while trying to negotiate his plea agreement. It also states that the government can go after his property regardless of the state of his criminal convictions.
Obviously, it would be in Manafort's best interest to just stick to the plea deal that he struck with the Special Counsel and hope for a relatively "short" prison sentence considering that he was facing the rest of his life.
Robert Mueller is a master. Trump and his people are flunkies. No wonder the ship is going down.

@NJChicaa - but mueller is also breaking the purpose of the investigation. hes supposed to investigate and look into collusion, not prosecute any one for any crime. hes supposed to hand that evidence over to someone else to prosecute.
im still waiting for an actual collusion prosecution.

@Plethos The instruction to Mueller was to investigate collusion and any other possible crimes that turned up in the course of those investigations. With Cohen and Manafort flipping, I think Mueller may have gotten Trump on collusion. If not, he has certainly gotten him 12,489,640 times on obstruction of justice.

As I also tell my Fox News-loving parents, we don't know what Mueller has. His office doesn't leak. It doesn't respond to requests for comment. We won't know what there is to know until he is finally finished. . . and after this latest document declassification stunt, it will likely continue even longer.

@NJChicaa Yeah, let's just pray the Dems control at least the house after the elections because as bad as it might be, I don't think a Republican Congress will impeach him..and whether he can be indicted or not remains to be seen. Deported.would be a fit punishment..

Girl, the score card is way higher than that. He's already gotten pleas from Flynn, Gates, Manafort, some other guy that is like van somebodyorother, and Papadopolous. (I feel like I'm forgetting someone) He has indicted at least 13 Russians. Michael Cohen, Trump's former lawyer and "personal fixer" is now cooperating with Mueller. And we have no idea what else has been going on behind the scenes.
