I told the manager today in a snarky tone whether the girl in weekend will be here or both I'm helping a friend about an hour away so I need to know whether to plan to work.
He just gave me a look. I said no she's booked but let's face it she called in sick every weekend plus the last 2 and thanksgiving already.
I go well I'm the only one to cover and I need to prep my time like I'm working or should I just assume to come in.

Agree! Yet, he does nothing. She texted me last night claiming she's sick the following weekend which happens to be thanksgiving.

He actually has. Last weekend and several before she called last minute or showed up for 2 hours then claimed to be sick. So he worked the Saturday and I worked the Sunday. This week he is on vacation for 8 days

I hope So! I told him just give me her shifts and not book her. She's earned nothing.
