What's for lunch today? 9/19

I am currently baking veggie burgers and French fries in the oven right now. I didn't really think I was that hungry until I started cooking. I have never tried this brand of veggie burger. So we will see how good they are.
Luckily I have a four legged taste tester, that will generally eat something even if I don't think it is that good.
What are you having for lunch today?

@wolfgirl569 Ah. yum. I may get some poptarts next week. I'm going to have to be really strict with my budget these next few weeks before moving.

Nothing, then again I don't really eat lunch. I eat a late breakfast and then an early dinner most of the time. Going to the kitchen in an hour to start the cornbread, cutting of the veggies and braising of the meat. I won't have supper ready until closer to 5 or 5:30 but I want to have time to eat, do the dinner dishes and go to my sister's to tend to her dogs before sunset.

When I make stew I make it in the crock pot and let it cook all day. tastes so much better that way. I usually skip lunch, unless I'm home. Ill grab a snack at work, and usually that will suffice.
I just finished lunch, and it was pretty good. Harley did get fries, so she was happy. I'm going to write for another hour and then take a nap.

@thislittlepennyearns I can't get to our crockpot or I would do the same.
One of my friends dogs will lay between two people and cast his puppy dog eyes up at us for his scraps. He's quite a character. The last time I went for a visit, he came to each of us sitting in the room and asked to be petted.
No pets here, or I'd have one myself.

@ScribbledAdNauseum We have the dog and the turtle. We had a horse up until a couple.of months ago when his actual owners decided they were actually going to take care of him again.

I sometimes buy a veggie burger if we have to grab a quick bite on a journey. They're mostly pretty good.
