Getting some windows cleaned on condos we do each year.

We've been cleaning condos where my sister lives for the past three weeks, off and on. The picture here is the smallest building and in some ways more difficult than the other two larger buildings. Maybe I'll get a pictures of those as well just to see the comparison. Today is our last day of no rain and my one new employee decided he needed to leave to paint his mom's living room before a party tomorrow. Therefore, the guy in the photo is having to do the majority of the work on this building by himself. I'm in a chair monitoring his work and progress and helping when needed. We had work the last two days. (Wednesdays and Thursdays are my only two days off from cashiering other than all the extra days I've taken off recently to elevate my foot, but I'm running out of paid days off, so I've been working more.) I try to get bigger jobs for those two days and it can be annoying when my workers can't work the whole day. Course, this is the first time in a long while when we've had something to do longer in the day. It's possible he didn't realize that I wanted to work most of the day if possible.. We're supposed to be using the ladder when possible but it's easier moving the extension around with another guy's help, so I'm not sure we'll get it finished today. If it doesn't get done today and it does rain later it's supposed to rain through Friday. That means I have to wait even longer to get paid for the whole job.

Using a pole they are never as clean as I want them, this is why I use a ladder.

@MarshaMusselman All our windows open toward the inside, I stay inside and I climb the ladder because some windows are French Windows and pretty high. I would not climb a ladder outside, I would hire someone if the windows would not open.

@MarshaMusselman I open the windows and also clean the frames, and remove the dust that forms inside the frame.

@LadyDuck ok good. I forgot that t the windows over there open differently than over here. More people here are installing ones that can be cleaned from the inside too but we prefer doing them from outside when we can.

Hopefully. It normally takes us a day and a half but I had a larger crew this year. Some of them went home early as they did the lower windows. No sense in paying them for standing around.
