This evening on the news I heard these words used. The CDC is monitoring illnesses caused after severe weather, flooding. I looked it up and wanted to share the link where one can look, read for themselves ... who knows, maybe this will help someone be more careful if they are cleaning up and such. Roads here in Franklin County, NC were flooded, also. Thankfully in our area where we live all is okay. We were very fortunate. I can't believe we kept our electric power and Directv. Why? Because in any 'little' storm we easily lose one or the other. I hope this link is allowed as it is the source someone can go to read info that is very helpful. If not, please delete it or tell me. Thank you. Link: https://www.cdc.gov/healthywater/emergency/extreme-weather/floods-standingwater.html

Severe weather conditions can definitely bring a lot of diseases, and some are deadly actually. From flooding, you can get Leptospirosis. So you need to be careful.
