When your kids announce it to the world

I rarely wear make up. I tend to stay home or close to it, sometimes only leaving to bring my kids to and from school. Today I had an opportunity to go to an employment workshop. I figured I would do my makeup. I had to go straight to the school to pick up the kids. My son didn’t notice but both girls each commented very loudly. Maybe I will start wearing makeup more often so it doesn’t seem so unusual to them.

Girls will notice...your son probably won't.

Oh I feel you. My kids are so used to what I wear that when I wear a new tops or shoes, my son will tell me "Mom, you look nice"

I don’t wear makeup often and when I do my boyfriend likes it. I had my makeup done by a friend for my birthday when we were going to a concert and looked really good.

I stopped wearing makeup ages ago. Once I relocated to Riga, Latvia it was expensive to purchase and I did not work outside of the home after a while so no sense to wear any. Now I have returned to the U.S. and I continue to go makeup free. I am just not used to it anymore.

I rarely wear makeup either. My daughter always notices when I do wear it. I'm like a different person to her. She learned to put her makeup on herself. She will ask me "Who did your makeup?" And be surprised when I tell her I did. I may not wear it often but I do know how to apply it.
