Early this morning, I decided to have a cleaning session in the backyard. First, I need to a hot cup of coffee before having my bolo on hand.lol Typhoon Ompong gave a very big task for me to deal with. For this reason, I asked an assistance with my younger brother to give me hand. I don't want to take forever holding my bolo.lol Another reason, it was being reported that a strong typhoon will be coming. I hope it would change its course. "Did you clean your backyard lately?" "Any plans of cleaning something in your place?" Image Credit: Shavkat

It was really so stressed out cleaning them up. Luckily, we were able to finish it right before the monsoon rain in the afternoon. Shadow keeps on walking around in the backyard, too. He seemed to be happy that his territory is being cleaned.

I hope you are well despite the weather. I haven’t cleaned my backyard yet. But I did keep myself busy cleaning our old house which took me a weeklong so that someone can rent it soon.

It is best the day to clean the backyard because Mr. Sun shines brightly. We really need to clean them up as soon as possible. For the reason that another strong typhoon is coming soon.

@Shavkat I cleaned my backyard today. I had to burn leaves and I feel sunburnt. But it’s very satisfying. I wish you will be safe for the next storm.

@flapiz I hope the typhoon will change its course. That's nice you had accomplished something today. Is it allowed to burn leaves there?

I only clean our bedroom. I only do it on a weekend. I can't do so much cleaning anymore. I now tire easily and my daughter told me not to do so much cleaning anymore and leave it to the helper. Careful of your heart, Do not overdo it, @Shavkat Sorry, for my typo of calling you Ingrid. I was also commenting to ingrid at another tab, so that's why I had a typo error of callig you ingrid.

It's really a lot of work to clean the mess left by the typhoon. We were not affected by it, but we always have lots of work at home!

I agree. This is a handful work after Typhoon Ompong. Hopefully, no typhoon to come. As the usual weather in my city, we started to experience monsoon rains again.

The picture you posted somehow gave me a hint how strong the typhoon was in your place. I remember I was like that a couple of years ago when my place was also hit by typhoon on Christmas Eve and Christmas day was cleaning day for us back then. It was hard and it was depressing that it hit us on th day we were expecting to be merrymaking.

@Shavkat True no need to complain about the situation just move on and do what you are expected to do. Clean and restore back the life you used to have. Forgot about the situation and move on with life.

Whoah, you have got a lot of cleaning to do. Goodluck. Well, I cleaned up my room today. I changed my window curtains and sheets. Also, I repainted the cabinets in the kitchen area because it looks kind of out-dated already. Tomorrow, I will be repainting my door with linen cream. It's going to be a tiring day but I am excited. Goodnight and sweetest dreams to you.

@Shavkat I only burn a few mango leaves, the rest are composted or trashed, no rubber or plastic is burned, it's so sweet smelling people like the smell. We are in a corner lot, I only have 2 immediate neighbors, one at the back and the other on one side, its all fire walled. Our property has high hollow block fencing, Btw, clean air act was authored by our congressman.

It is a good thing that burning these leaves are allowed in your city. In my city, it is a big no because of the city ordinance implement a few years back. I asked my younger brother to shredded them as compose for the other plants.

We were hit by the typhoon here, there was rain but no winds in Manila. I was in Pampanga on the 14th and 15th of this month and I experienced the wrath of the typhoon. How are you now in the highlands?
