Reading, Finished Reading, and To Be Read : A look at what's on my shelf

Okay, so the title might be a bit misleading. I'm not sure if I'll get into what is actually on my shelf. I did finish Silence For The Dead by Simone St. James today and I enjoyed it. She ended the book a bit differently than usual, but I found that I liked this ending a bit more than others. I find that some of her conclusions are too vague for my liking. Since her "happily ever after" is usually only divulged towards the very end, this book's more expansive explanation was much more appreciative. That was a tongue twister to write so I hope you understand what I mean. Anyway, now I am not sure what to read next. Do I get into thrilling, horror, mystery type books? Or do I stay within the genre I have been reading? The historical, somewhat paranormal, a little romantic, but also mysterious type? I do have a few other Simone St. James books that I'd like to purchase, but her other books seem to go in a different direction than the previous three I've read. I could start one of the books I got today from the BOTM club, but then I'm not so sure about that either. I have books on my kindle I could read as well. In fact, there's a kindle book I still need to finish. So many possibilities, and yet, I'm really not sure what to read next. What genre are you reading now? What author are you reading now? What book are you reading now? And, if you are not reading at all, replace "reading" with "watching" and answer the questions above.

I have been watching TV more than reading lately. But I have a couple of books in my night table and a couple of classics to reread in my computer.

I've been enjoying the era that Simone St. James writes in that I am not sure I want to "leave" it yet. I have been watching some television myself. I watch American Horror Story when it is new, and I watch Mountain Men as well. I've recorded a new episode tonight. I am picky about my television viewing, but I do watch one news show as well, because I like how deep she delves into matters.

@marguicha I can watch some classics via amazon, and we have the Turner Classic Movie channel. I only really like two or three films that would be considered "classic" though. I like "And Then There Were None" the 1945 version. I also like "The Wizard of Oz". There may be another one or two that I am not thinking of at the moment.

I read the first 100 book and now I need to get the rest in the series. The book is nothing like the TV show.

I am not sure I've watched the show, I might be thinking of another. There was a show about people who claimed to be from the future? I'm not sure, I only watched a few episodes of it.

I read the book before the tv show was made and it really irked me that they adapted it so much for the screen. However, I persevered and finally I got over it, and just enjoy it for its absurdity now! I haven't read any more of the books.

I am still plugging along in the Testament by Grisham. I need to carve out some reading time..because otherwise I am gonna have to skip ahead to finish this book..It is probably due back at the library in a few days.

You can't renew the loan out? It's been forever since I've been to the library, but I feel like I could do that at my library. I don't know what I am going to read next. I have some John Grisham books.

I think I already wrote that I have decided to read all the "Hercule Poirot" novels written by Agatha Christie and this is what I am reading now.

I'm reading Joe Coffin Season One by Ken Preston. I got it from Voracious Readers Only, who give new and newish writers an opportunity to get their books read and reviewed. I'm struggling a bit because it's in electronic form and I much prefer paper, but it's good.

Sometimes, I imagine myself staning in the middle of a huge library with thousands and thousands of books organized on hundreds of shelves. Probably, I would not want to leave that place during at least the next ten years. When you like reading and have many options, it's really difficult to take the right decision.
