At Home in Packers Country - Between the Raindrops

I wasn't here much yesterday, other than a short time yesterday morning, then nap, and laundry.
Laundry took longer than I anticipated, but it was all good. I had to wait until at least noon before I went to my son's, so my morning nap was perfect for that, and the fact I was falling asleep on the keyboard yesterday forced the nap issue.
I needed to get the laundry done between storms yesterday. I almost didn't think that would happen, as just as the clothes were to come out of the dryer the heavens opened once again and it really poured. However, it didn't last too long and I was able to get the clothes home.
I also took my grandson for a job interview at Arbies. He got the job. He'll be starting full time on Monday. He will take his job with Wendy's down to part-time. Still giving him two jobs.
While waiting for him, I checked my phone. I actually had it on me for a change. I found my sister had called and called to talk to her. She wanted to make certain I was okay with the storm we had Monday. I assured her I was but was the worst night of my life driving home.
It was after four when I got home and started work on Thread of Evidence. I worked on two chapters before I went to bed last night. I also watched two episodes of The Guardian on Hulu. I'm really enjoying that show.
Last night I had a bit of trouble with chest pains and decided not to go to the pool this morning. I'm fine and they didn't last long. It feels strange to not go to the pool, but I think it was for the best.
I thought we were going to get a bit of sun this morning, but the clouds are back. It was raining through the night and looks like it's going to burst forth again. So long Mr. Sun. Maybe tomorrow we'll see you shine.
That's what's happening here. What's happening in your neck of the woods?
Time for me to get my breakfast and get to the notifications and visit your posts. Thanks for reading.
Picture collage is one I took yesterday. Can you see the squirrel in the tree?

Glad your grandson got the job. Sorry you had some chest pains. I did see the squirrel in the tree. It's sunny today, after last week it is a welcomed sight. We are suppose to get more rain Sunday, a cold front will be pushing through. Later Mike and I will get some groceries. Have a blessed day

Thank you. I'm glad he did too. Thank you. I wish I knew what caused them, but even the doctor's don't know, so I don't bother going to the doctor anymore when I get them, which now is rare. It's the first one I've had in several years.
Enjoy the sun. Have a blessed day.

We've had a few cloudy days too but no rain, good you managed to get the laundry done. Congrats to your grandson on getting the job. Sorry you had chest pains, better to not have gone swimming and I hope you're feeling better by now. Yes, spotted the squirrel, we don't have squirrels. I hope you've gotten some sun. Went to the library today then baked banana bread. Enjoy your Saturday.

You did have a busy day yesterday. Glad you were able to get your laundry done though, along with some of the book.
Congratulations to your nephew. Hope he likes his new job.

the squirrel is photogenic, at least the silhouette shows its profile.

I wasn't mylotting much yesterday, but I still noticed you were not around as usual . It's good you worked on Thread of Evidence, but be careful with those chest pains, sometimes they are harmless, but sometimes they mean problems. Just be careful.
My day was as the usual, the exception is that my father in law is visiting. Took my son to kindergarten, went to work, took my son back, went for a walk in the park with him and my father in law, we played for two hours, until my wife finished her work. And now my son is sleeping and me and my wife, we are watching The Voice Romania .

Thank you for your concern. If I thought they were related to my heart, I would have gone to the ER. However, I know it would have been a wasted trip. I've been to the ER several years ago and been through the heart stress tests, and my heart always came back as strong and healthy. The doctors don't know what is causing those pains, so I just wait it out. They always go away.
I'm glad you had a good day.
