Taking A Day Off

Last night when I was so tired I decided to take today off so when I called the tenant and found out the mud puddle was not causing a water bill hike in price ( I already checked the water meter) I knew I would take off, I told her in a couple days.
I will clean the house today but I did lay around this morning, reading and I did fall back to sleep.
Its almost 3 pm and I have yet to eat today. I have a left over egg roll I froze from the last time I got Chinese and that is what I will eat, just heat and eat. Tony wanted nothing but fruit, however he wants to cook meat on the grill.
It looks stormy off to the east, I sure hope it rains here. Maybe we are still in that east to west flow.

Fridays we have a routine....so today followed the routine.

So far so good! My friend had a huge water leak a few months ago. He had to wait for several days for the water company to come by as the plumber determined it was happening somewhere outside the house. Once the water company showed up they were able to fix it almost immediately.

We are responsible from the water meter to the house, so if it was leaking them I would be fixing it. But this one is a strange thing because they have no water bill raise, the flat rate is around $15 in that area and there is just that each month.

I'm happy you are taking the day off! Isn't that what Fridays are for? Lol!
It's my favorite day. I walked, went to the gym for a class, played tennis with some friends, had lunch at our club, and came home to a spotless house - the cleaning lady was here. Now I'm showered and waiting for our usual Friday date night with hubby. We're going to have Thai tonight.

Fall hit hard here and it is cold. It looks to be cold and rainy the next few days. I am good with that. I feel better than I did this morning.

After I left work, stopped by the market, just retired from teaching myself to crochet. I just started so it will be a good while before I get the hang of it

I had a couple of day off this week, the change of the seasons is really messing me, I wanted to just do nothing but play video games today but I need to work on my webcomic and make sure that is all done by Sunday

Same here, I rewrote one for Virily and submitted that for approval. I had to clean the dirty kitchen, it looked like hell.
