Even though Hurricane Florence has caused death and destruction this year, a businessman in Lynchburg Virginia named Winston Marsden is keeping his promise to a former deputy of the Amelia County Sheriff's Department named Bill Ford who back in 2000 saved the life of Marsden when he fell into a frozen creek after he wrecked his ATV.
Marsden made a promise to Ford that one day he would pay him back for his actions of saving him from freezing to death in a creek.
Marsden with the assistance of several businessmen and volunteers went to Richmond Virginia to repair a road that had been washed out by the floods due to Hurricane Florence.
The project that will cost around $10,000 dollars will be completed in about one week with donations from around the world.

What a special person to want to pay back the person that saved him.
