Yay, It is really Fall

We did not even reach 70 F yesterday That is about 20 C. It was chilly last night.
I had to use the built in heater in the bathroom when I showered. It felt really good.
Today is herb class, plus I will be trying to get my tender perennials moved to a sheltered area, in hopes of carrying them over. I will select lemon grass to propagate and harvest other herbs.
I am glad to have a long weekend and I plan to get the yard work taken care of for the end of the season.

For me this feels about perfect. It actually was a little warmer today than it was yesterday.

Its down right cold here today, yesterday was so hot we stayed in the house, woke up cold... noticed a neighbors tree is changing colors.

The tree must be very pretty. I was cold before I went to bed. We use a heated mattress pad.

@GardenGerty that heat pad sounds interesting, I might look for one. The trees are just starting to change their color, its the maple trees that put on a show. The photo was a few years ago. I noticed getting some photos through the trees yesterday our trees are still green - very green.

My brother lives in Alberta, Canada and was out yesterday with his snowmobile to kick off the winter season. (Alberta and the interior Rockies never experience Autumn as we know it. They go from intense Summer weather straight into intense Winter weather.)
