Mylotters, it's been a full month since I went on my gym break to gain weight. And a week from this weekend, I'll go back to the gym to resume the rest of my gym classes until my membership expires in mid-spring, depending on the weather.
The calories went up and down this week from 2200-3000 and everything in between. Though last week was a high week, this week I've gained half-a-pound and weigh 105.0. No word from my brother via text. I did double my servings for dinner and added two proteins to my sandwiches for lunch. Only Aldi's tater tots and ice cream were my junk food for the week.
In a month, I've gained 5.5 pounds! I'm proud of that! I need another 15 pounds to go to reach my target weight of 120 pounds. I hope to get to 106-107 calories by next weekend, starting tonight.
And in a little over a week, it's going to be trickier to do it and be active at the same time while hitting 2600-3000 calories a day. So I'm planning to eat some pre-workout and post-workout snacks to help me get there in between meals.
I did text Paige on Thursday and haven't heard back from her or from Omar. So I hope to hear from them next week to schedule my lessons from October to mid-December, weather depending, for my final round of swim lessons. If I do hear from them, I'll do an update for sure.

May I ask why do you want to gain weight?

Glad you are still gaining. You will need to eat more to keep at it when you resume the swimming. The extra snacks will help a lot.

Me too Eva. I'm planning too. But no word yet from Paige or Omar lately.

You are headed in the right direction so that is good. I guess you will have to monitor your gym activity to make sure you aren't burning too many calories. Your idea of adding snacks sounds good.

True. I would have to eat around 2500-3000 calories on my gym days. Thanks!

Hope you don't start losing again when you go back to the gym

Me neither. I just have to eat more for the next two months to reach my goal.

Yep. A little bit does help to go a long way. I would love to hit 110 pounds by November.

Not everyone wants to know this. Just you. I don't want to be underweight any longer and I want to wear medium-sized clothes and size-nine shoes. I need to be at a healthier weight at 120 thereabouts, especially when I go back to the gym in a week.
