Home Alone .... Day One

Happy Sunday Everyone!
My daughter is off on her cruise through New England and up to Halifax. I'm hoping she has good sailing weather and enjoys herself.
For me, it's my first day of a week of being alone (except for the pups). I had a good nights sleep, did my usual morning routine, took the dogs out and was pleasantly surprised at how chilly it is.
Being home alone isn't much different than the days when my daughter works. The only difference is the evenings and I'm hoping I don't get too lonely. This week brings so many good tv shows back that I'm sure I'll have plenty to keep me occupied and fill up the evening hours.
Today I'm thinking of making some pumpkin muffins. Once Fall arrives everything turns to pumpkin 
That about sums up my day so far but it's still early so who knows what the day will bring.
I was hardly here yesterday so I have plenty of notifications to catch up on.

I live alone and so I'm always alone. I've come to really enjoy it.

I've never lived alone but I think I could if I had to. I'm looking foward to my week alone but we'll see how it goes before I finally commit to it being fun

The homemade pumpkin muffins sound like a nice idea.
I love pumpkin pie, but will wait until Thanksgiving next month to enjoy a slice.
I see so many pumpkin baked goods out in the store already here too, and although I love pumpkin, too much of it and I'll get tired of it.
I suppose the next flavour season will be gingerbread or will it be apple-cinnamon?

I took a picture of the vegetable stir fry that I was making for supper tonight-with you in mind. I'll hopefully do a post in the next couple of days about it. It looked great, but tasted even better. I amazed myself.

@Marilynda1225 I wonder if they were Italian immigrants. Here in the south of Switzerland we have those vendors during Christmas holidays.

@LadyDuck I'm sure they were originally but not sure now. I haven't been to NYC in years but used to go almost every year at Christmas to see the tree in Rockefeller Center and all the stores decorated for the holidays. Maybe I'll get there this year.

I love roasted chestnuts. Reminds me of New York City with all the vendors selling roasted chestnuts on the corners.

You could spend some extra time on Mylot. I keep busy enough that even when alone, I rarely have time to feel lonely.

A friend's wife posted a picture on Facebook of pumpkin spice rawhides and that was just too much. Pumpkin is good, but not everything needs to be pumpkin..

@Marilynda1225 Walmart sells cleaning wipes , baby wipes, diapers, bleach and about a million other things that don't need to be pumpkin scented.

Good morning.Just back from the flea market.Did not buy anything.It has been awhile going to one.
Wanted to see some people that I know there.It will be the last time going there.
I am sure that you will be fine there.No one popping in for coffee there?

I'm sure you'll enjoy some alone time! Whenever my husband has to be gone overnight, which is seldom, thank goodness, I just pretend he's asleep in the other room and it helps me go to sleep. There's not much that isn't better with a pumpkin and spice flavor!

Don't look at it as a week of being lonely think of it as an indulgent week being able to do what and when you feel like it. Catching up with things YOU want to do. First choice of your television programmes. Go on treat yourself!
