We finally got some much needed rain last night. It has been raining off and on since yesterday. And that is a good thing. I love the sound of the rain on the screen roof top. Takes me back to childhood memories. Good stuff. And the roses are enjoying the rain as well. As long as I can stay home and watch the rain from my window I enjoy it. I do not enjoy driving in the rain. Do you enjoy the rain? Does it bring back good memories for you?

We need rain but we are having a chilly wind from the north right now. At least the air is cool.

I really do love the rain and especially the soft rain Carol. Yes, there are some very good memories attached to it, for instance when my Mama RIP took us back to her homeland and it was so lovely and green and the soft rain had such a nice smell to it. That is a beautiful colored rose there.

I don't like the rain but I know sometimes the plants like it. Today it is the Mid-autumn Festival here, which is a less important festival than Chinese New Year. Unfortunately it rains today and we can not enjoy outdoor activities tonight. Usually we will go out to look at the bright moon in such a festival.

Plants, trees, grass, birds, we all love it. As long as I am indoors. That is too bad you cannot get out for the festival.

I'm glad you're getting some much-needed rain. We had a lot of rain last week, so I'm glad to see the sun. No, I don't like driving in it, mostly at night in the dark. Otherwise, it doesn't bother me to drive in it.

@CarolDM With all the rain we got, we're 8 inches above last years total at this time. We were dry in July. Not anymore.

I enjoy the rain so much because it reminds me of my hometown. When I was a teenager, I used to sit in the balcony and watch it fall the whole day long.

The sound of rain, especially when we've not had it for a while, is so very soothing. I conjures up a lot of old memories. And there is nothing better then the sound of a soft rain, and the smell it brings with it.

yes I also experienced rain for today ... I also remembered my childhood but I couldn't play rain like my childhood
