My Bet Lost in the Singing Contest

I was so sad last night because my favorite did not make it to the six finalists in a television singing contest. She was so good, her voice is quite flexible especially when she sings rock and country music. I did not know their criteria, but I think she should be included in the top six contenders. I hope she'll be given another chance. But I am sure she had became famous with all the television exposures she got from that weekend TV show. It is done every Saturday and Sunday night. Do you also play favorites in such contests?

Is that the singing contest in GMA, the Clash. My bet there is the chubby guy who really sang so filled with emotion and beautifully.

He is good also; the one from Olongapo City? Also Miriam is good.

Its really disappointing when our bet lost just because its not the preference of the judges, I can relate to this.

I felt it; they did not like her because she also joined a singing contest in their rival TV station (my guess); but she was good, though the song assigned to her did not fit her style so she somewhat "failed" in that last chance.

Politics is so broad that even talents are being affected by it.

I don't know this singing contest on TV. I am sorry your bet did not make the cut.

It is alright; she still has other chances and it gave her the television exposure.

Not all winners becomes successful in the long run. You shouldn't stop believing on that singer even if the candidate lost the competition. That's how you measured up as a real fan.

Usually I have a favorite when I watch this kind of contest. I fear that most of the time it's not the best who wins.

It could be frustrating; but anyway, I still like it for he entertainment. All the contestants are good.

Sometimes just being in these sorts of competitions is enough to send them on their way to a successful career.

It could be because they get enough TV exposures and prospective employers can see them.

Is the winner male? Most singing contests have female audience and always vote for Male contestants.

There were six finalists and four were males. They will still have to compete for the top 2 or 3; maybe next weekend.

It seems we might all have our favorites, but we can't be too disappointed. Only so many will win.

I always have a favorite in a singing contest. Only a few actually won. The others who did were just plain lucky.

I have been disappointed so many times that I have stopped hoping for one particular person to win. I simply tell myself that they are all winners - especially the top four.

It just happened that I love her style; husky and she can execute the high notes so well. Anyway, it's just a show.
