As go my garden friends, so go I!

I was a bit blue this morning, listening to a sad Greg Brown song and thinking about what's left of my Summer corn and sunflowers, turning into "sad brown skeletons" after their warm Spring and Summer days of happiness with me.
The futility of the Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers did little to help, but by then I had been fortified by some coffee, dark chocolate, and a good vacuuming session.
When I went out to check on my balcony garden, I was happy to see that my Fall snow peas are still looking good. As the green bean plants start to die off, the snow peas will start to climb. They enjoy our cool but temperate Fall and Winter weather.
Did anything in particular lift your spirits today?

I was not down, but decorating for Halloween is always fun for me.

@wolfgirl569 Sigh. At least I don't see Christmas decorations up yet.

I had a nice chat with my mom that made me feel a bit better because I do have a lot of stress on my plate.

Only thing was that I got to work more on gathering my material for my second book of poems.

After a disgusting display in football, I worked on my book to lift my spirits. It did a good job doing just that. I'm sorry about your teams.
