A young lady risks her life to save a driver who was in an auto that was submerged

Tammi Geerts is being called a heroine for risking her life to rescue a 22 year old man whose auto was under a lake in Allendale Township Michigan on Saturday morning.
The accident occurred in Allendale Township in Michigan when an auto fell into a lake. It is evident that either Tammi or a concerned citizen called the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office to report the accident.
Tammi was able to get into the lake before the police arrived since what she saw was the trunk of the auto floating above the water.
Thanks to a semi open window on the auto that was underwater, Tammi was able to get the driver out of the auto by pulling him auto and getting him to the shore.
The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of this accident.
My belief is either driver error or the driver was drunk or drugged at the time of the accident.

That could have been a factor since it happened during the morning hours on Saturday.

People need to always have a glass breaker on hand. It is on most pocket knives these days and they can really save lives.

That is true since none of us are real life Supermen or Supergirls with their super strength on hand to break windows inside an auto.
