I know this story from Idaho will not make the national headlines since the background of this story is that a janitor named Mac Marty who was a U S Air Force veteran is teaching the students at Hayden Meadows Elementary School in Hayden Lake Idaho the proper way to take down an American flag from a flagpole and properly fold it and put it away.
Amanda Reallan was picking up her children at the mentioned school when she saw Naylan Tuttle, Jack LeBreck and Casey Dolan who were told by Mac Marty that in no way should the American flag touch the ground during the flag handling ceremony since it is a very disrespectful act.
One person took the picture of the three 5th graders following the orders of Mac Marty to be careful with the American flag.
I am sure liberals are fuming angry that the act of patriotism has gained many followers on social media.

I know what you mean since I am a native of Panama and I would shudder to think what would happen to anyone who dropped a flag in that area.

That is true. My comments were made tongue in cheek.

Let the liberals fume. I'm happy to see children show respect for our flag. I'm also grateful to the janitor for teaching them proper flag handling.

That is wonderful I love the idea of the boy on the ground in case they drop the flag or something.
