Poetry: The depth of death never reaches the bottom of love, because love has no bottom!

The breath gives life until death.
Its depth is profoundly not often met,
unless we breathe too from our soul,
we are never wholly alive to its breadth.
We sometimes look forward to the end of our journey,
but not often to the end of our travelling through life.
We fear the darkness, but not the sunset yet.
We hear the thunder, but are still alive in death’s debt.
Death exists only to the external.
Love lives much deeper than this.
Death meets its match then in love,
as within God, and love, there is no death.

God's light still shines upon all that is death.
