Problems are part of our lives and I know this is not going to be easy. Sometimes, we encountered unexpected problems which we can’t resolve quickly. If we are working individual, we have the responsibility to perform our duty and whatever that problems in us, it should not affect our performance or productivity. It would be OK to tell colleagues with the problems we have for possible advice but I think that it’s not good if our work has been sacrifice throughout the day because we are so occupied on thinking the problem. The burden is understandable but if we can’t perform well, I think we should take a leave of absence instead. That is if superior would permit.

Leaving our problems at home isn't possible because what happens at home if it matters to us affects us, our thoughts and emotions. But we can train our thoughts and emotions to be pleasant, positive and make it work for us and not against us. I'm blessed that I don't have problems at home. But I have experienced it in the past and it is hell and my work suffered. I suffered.

If it's not possible (as being human), what we need perhaps is to prevent the problem from controlling us in the workplace so that the work won't put to sacrifice.

Actually, problems will always be apart of our lives. We just have to shut down some doors so we can perform better though it is hard.

I forget about the problem at home whenever I am busy at the office. And when I am not and thinks of the problem, I pray for God to help me. I also share my problem with my closest officemate. That way, I get it off my chest.

with cell phones and the internet, it's probably harder if they keep texting/messaging you or you keep texting/messaging each other or worse, someone else meddles and the issue gets even more complicated. i mean, at least before with only landlines, you'd only call the company for urgent matters so the line between home time and work time is somehow respected.
