Always Help Someone

We never know what others are going through. I make sure I try and help others every chance I get. Something as small as a smile... opening the door for someone..... even a small compliment could make their day. I actually told a lady the color she was wearing looked beautiful on her. Her face lit up and she said thank you very much. The key is knowing when and who to help. I think you just know. That gut feeling. Try it sometime. It might even make your day. And it may be the only compliment or gesture the other person receives. It is always better to give when you can. Do you agree? Have you done this before? What was the reaction?

I love helping people in any way I can. Sometimes I think I'm selfish, because when I help people I feel great and I'm asking myself: "Why am I doing this? I really want to help them or I'm just doing it because of how it makes me feel?" Odd and tricky, isn't it? 
But no, helping others is easy sometimes and really difficult some other times. If we do this expecting nothing, just to see them smile or happy, then there's no question to ask. We are just regular people with love in their hearts. Actually, that's something hard to find .

I for one try to be this way every time I am around other people. To me if everyone would take the little extra step to show a little kindness, we'd all be better off. The trouble with people in this world anymore is most think that if they do something for anyone they got to get something in return. I'm not that way, if I can help someone I will, if I have something they can get use out of I give it to them. Most people anymore is not going to give anything away, they always see them dollar signs!
